What I Offer…
-
Understanding your Child's Needs
Every child develops in their own unique way. I will begin by listening to your concerns, exploring your child’s daily routines, and gaining a clear picture of their strengths and challenges. My goal is to help you understand what might be behind the behaviours or difficulties you’re seeing, and to start working together on what matters most to your family.
-
Comprehensive Assessments
Assessments are play-based and child-led, designed to make little ones feel comfortable and engaged. Through observation, discussion, and standardised tools where appropriate, I will explore areas such as sensory processing, play, motor skills, and daily functioning. You’ll receive clear feedback and practical recommendations to guide next steps.
-
Support for Babies & Toddlers
Early experiences lay the foundation for future development. I offer gentle, play-focused, support to help babies and toddlers build the skills they need to move, explore and connect with the world around them. This may include guidance around movement, positioning, sensory regulation, or early play and feeding routines.
-
Supporting Preschool and Early School-Age Children
For pre-schoolers and young school-age children, Occupational Therapy focuses on building independence, confidence and participation in every day activities. Assessment and intervention may focus on fine and gross motor skills, sensory regulation, self-care, attention and play skills - all through fun, meaningful activities designed to motivate your child.
-
Parent and Caregiver Guidance
You know your child best. I will work alongside you, offering advice, demonstration, and easy to follow strategies that you can use at home, in nursery or at school. This collaborative approach can help you to feel confident supporting your child’s growth and development in every day life.
-
Tailored Plans & Ongoing Support
Every family’s journey is different. Following assessment, you will be provided with a clear written report with recommendations and strategies and time to discuss these. Whether you’re seeking a one-off assessment/report or or ongoing input, I will adapt my support as your child develops and their needs change.
