Hi, I’m Orla Urquhart, founder of Orca OT - helping little ones make big waves.

I’m a Children’s Occupational Therapist (OT) with a passion for helping children build confidence, connection and joy through every day play and sensory experiences.

I’m an Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner, Certified Trauma-Informed Developmental Care Practitioner, and Clinical Specialist OT with experience working with babies from birth in neonatal care, through to pre-school, school-age and beyond. I also support other therapists as a Clinical Mentor and Supervisor, helping to nurture reflective and compassionate practice across our profession.

With an MSc in Sensory Integration, and experience working in the USA, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland, I bring a global perspective to understanding how each child’s sensory and emotional world shapes their development.

At Orca OT my goal is simple - to help children and families navigate challenges, celebrate progress, and make meaningful waves in their everyday lives.
